Optimal Drainage in the Compressed Ureter. The special construction of the tumor stent provides optimal drainage, even when the ureter is extremely compressed. The soft material in the pigtail section offers the highest patient comfort, while the special stiffened shaft portion prevents the stent from collapsing. The drainage holes are strategically placed to allow drainage, whilst preventing the growth of tissue into the shaft of the stent.
